Floating Leaf

I was looking at the fountain in St Annes Sq Manchester
Everyone was taking pictures of the fountain (and why not)
I just saw this leaf floating by and thought that it looked
interesting.

Whilst out and about i spotted this wasp feeding,
I don`t normally get this close to these things.

I saw these mushrooms growing on a fallen tree.

I hate to see `outstanding architecture` falling into a
state of disrepair.

Back Street Art

Walking in the back  streets of Manchester i came across this
Graffiti art on a wall of a derelict  building.

Under The Bridge

I`ve shot this bridge many times, I think its looks
just as good from underneath as it does from the
top.

Drift Wood

This is part of a large tree washed up on St Annes beach.

This is a view of St Anne`s pier. taken from the arcade on the pier
is was not possible to go any further so i took this through the
window.

Tractors on the beach leave  some lovely pattens.

Walking on St Anne`s beach recently, snapping away with my camera
i found the remains of the old pier quite interesting.

Riots

I was in the Midlands on Tuesday and witnessed some of the rioting scum on the streets.
In the following images i have merged several photo`s together to try and give some idea
 what it was like to be witnessing such inexcusable behaviour. I have some particularly good
images of some of the looters with their`Stolen Goods which are now in the hands of the police.

Museum of Liverpool

We visited the museum of Liverpool today it is a very interesting
place to visit.There is also lot`s of interesting architecture around
the Albert dock area. I will visit again soon...

Reflections

These two suspicious looking characters were spotted
outside a shop in Turkey.

I saw these watch straps in a shop in Turkey, they were just
dumped on a table at the far end of the shop.

Just a few snap shots of my trip into Manchester today.

Lyme Park

Taken from Lyme Park Cheshire. I don`t yet know the full story
 about this chap and his deer.

Beer Can

I was in beautiful Buxton today,it`s a lovely place.
I just liked this picture of the beer cans resting
in some leaves  that had fallen.I don`t know
why but it looked cool to me.

The sun was shining so the lighting was quite bright.But using a (nd4) filter
and a slow shutter speed,i managed to slow the water in this fountain.

Trafford Park

I recently stopped at Trafford Park with my trusty camera. This photograph was
taken from the loading bay at the Liverpool Warehousing co building looking
up towards the sky. I think the building was built around 1925.its derelict now.

Sky Hook

This sculpture can be seen in Trafford Park Manchester.
At the skyhook project, Landscape Projects worked with artist Brian Fell to develop a pair of 18m steel 'skyhooks' mounted on a disrupted landscape, which made a reference to the massive scale of engineering carried out in the industrial park, and the dockside context of the piece.

Looking back from the the quayside art works "Silent Cargoes"
towards millennium bridge Salford.

Metro Mix

This picture was originally all colour,but i liked the reflections
of the colours in the pools of water by the tram lines.
I converted the image to black and white in ps,but left
the area adjacent to the tram line in colour.

Silent Cargoes

Alan

In Manchester today,i stopped and had chat to Alan.
Thought i would photograph his hands. He wanted to
show me some photo`s he had taken but his phone
battery had other ideas.......
