This charming man.

Walking through Manchester i saw this man busking with a recorder on market street.

He looked a little dishevelled but i never judge a book by its cover.

His name is Alan. He is well spoken, educated and charming. I asked if i could take

his photograph he was thrilled that anyone would want too.

Every visit to Manchester now, i always stop and chat to Alan

I`ve made some slight adjustments in ps, which has given this image a gritty feel.

Migraine‎

Had a wonderful migraine today,this is how my world looked.

 taken on a wet dull day so i changed  the background to make to it bit more interesting.

Media City

Media city has some interesting architecture,this photo is a reflection on a
marble seat. I try to look at the obvious then try to make the image my
own.

Time for a coffee

Chester City

Chester is a wonderful place to take a camera. It`s a city that is bursting with history.

With its Roman walls, amphitheatre, and cathedral all within walking distance from
the city centre

When i visit any city that i want to photograph i try and look for something out of the
ordinary.

When i saw the buildings above i immediately thought of a black & white picture with
color on the doors would look good.

Just spotted this alleyway which leads you to a cafe.

The tiled floor looks amazing ,the guy waking past at just the right moment i think adds
some depth to the photo.

Lake of Menteith

We had a mini break recently in Scotland,staying at the" Lake of Menteith" hotel and restaurant which is highly recommended.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_of_Menteith

Loch lomond and the Trossachs  National park are a must visit

Valle Crucis Abbey

These are just some of the photo`s from our visit to Valle Crucis Abbey in llangollen,
If ever you are in llangollen  this Abbey is a great example of well preserved ruin.

Handwash

I made this photograph using oil in a bowl of water with color card in the background and my desk lamp lighting the scene. I did the same with bottle of hand wash, and merged the two photo`s together using PS

Things are not what they seem.

I spotted this rather odd w.c at Tatton Pk recently.
I decided to wait until i got home....

Wet day in Manchester

On a wet day in Manchester i came across this bench in market street,pools of rain water had settled on the bench. I thought it would look good in black and white.

This picture is pretty much as photographed with only slight adjustments to the levels in PS.

BBQ Out OF CONTROL

I came across this fire which was next to my sisters house in Macclesfield.

The fire started in derelict barn close to a housing estate,the fire service

we quickly scrambled to deal with escalating situation.
